Are you interested in stepping into a student leadership position on campus? Consider joining Student Senate!
Student Senate is recognized as the official organization representing the ideas, needs, and interests of the student body at Saint Paul College. Being involved is an excellent leadership opportunity that allows you to engage in a democratic form of student governance, led by a student elected Executive Board. Senate members serve on college committees, help organize and support student organizations, support programming and campus initiatives, and contribute to creating a welcoming and inclusive campus environment.

General Assembly
During the academic year, the student body comes together once a month for General Assembly. During General Assembly, all students have a vote on major issues affecting students. They can connect with student organizations and consult with the college on tuition and fees. We want to hear from you. Your opinion and involvement are important to us.

How can I join the Student Senate?
Every spring, students elect a President, Vice President, Treasurer, Equity and Inclusion Officer, Secretary and Executive Communications and Events Director. Officers serve a one-year appointment (August-May) and are paid hourly with the President position starting in July. Interested students must meet the requirements listed in the position descriptions and complete an application indicating the position they are interested in. Eligible applicants will have an opportunity to learn more about the opportunity to serve as a member of the Executive Board and the election process.
